As some of you know Kevin is going to be in a "reality" missionary show. This is the trailer , or what my dad calls it a "tickle" haha and once you watch this you can see why it is a tickle. .

I can't wait for this show to start, which it wont air until the end of the year. I also watched some, a little bit of some episodes and it is going to be SO COOL!!!

I will keep everyone posted to when it will actually start so you can all watch it too!

P.S. Kevin had his final interview with the Bishop today, and now all is next is to meet with the Stake President. Total time till his call comes . . .3 weeks (about)

I will for sure miss this kid, and I dont know if this movie will be a good thing for us to watch, especially wtih how emotional sending Kevin off is, and trying to hold back the tears now, with how much I am going to miss him.

Okay . .watching this show will be good! Really good, maybe we wont miss him as much as we would without this show.

Saturday, Jan 23, 2010 was such a busy day for me!!! Waking up at 7:30AM (staying awake until 3AM didn't helpmy case, hot tubing was intense) Watching my brothers kids all morning, taking a two hour break to go to "The Perfect Dress" to watch Jeanette try on wedding dresses. So much fun to see her look EXTRA beautiful, and what a great opportunity, as a bridesmaid, to be invited! I love Jeanette! Thanks for the invite!

Then I headed back home, Continued watching the kids, with the help of Bryce and his girlfriend, they then took Wesley and Izzy to a dollar movie. I had William, feed him, put him to sleep and then I started to make delicious Pizelle's for ward prayer the next day. Luckily I had enough time to shower before Courtney and Ashley got to my house for out little road trip to WENDOVER. I was so tired, What a long day! The trip to Wendover was short but super fun! I love being with my friends and being on the road just brings us together! and I have to admit. while in Wendover, I only lost $0.50. Please dont judge me, hahaha but it was really fun, Now I can say been there done that. I repented the next day!

Sick . . .AGAIN

I can't believe it!!! Can you believe it? I was sick at the beginning of January and now that it is the end of January, my body dicided to get sick again . . .what is happening, I dont get that often, and the WHAMMY . .twice in one month!!

It was really hard to get this morning, I wanted to call my supervisor and tell her I as not coming into work, BUT NO, I need the money, so I forced myself to get out of bed. With a stuffy nose, horrible cough, and inflammed sinus's I took myself to work. The best part of my job, that that I dont really interact with anyone so I wasn't nervous to get anyone sick. I lasted four hours at work, and finally broke! I couldn't handle it. I had to go home. It killed me cus I need to money but getting better and getting rest was more higher on my high archy of needs than money. I slept for 3 hours after getting home, and hope to get lots more when bed time rolls around!

G.N.O

Girls Night Out. . much needed right? I would only guess so since girls is all I ever hang out since I dont get asked out on dates. I am learning to take in the moments I have with my girlfriends cus I guess if I ever get married I wont really get to hang out with them as much (I hope this is not true, but from seeing my other friends get married, they hang out with other married people, so I am putting myself in that catagory also.) It was a fun night! I got off of work a little later than expected, drove home, got my things and headed out to the boonies! haha It was so fun to spend time with the girls I love dearly. We danced (I have no rythum) we took epic pictures, and we spent time in the hot tub! So relaxing for sure!! Courtney, Ashley and Tina! You girls rock. Thanks for the fun night!!

I Knew It!!

The feeling I had in my bones about getting a job was right. I knew I would be blessed with something that would give me an income before February came. This is only a temporary job, a week at the most but hey. . . It is better than nothing. My old young womens leader remembered that I was looking for work! and WAH LA!

I am really being taken care of. I just needed to let it out!!

FHE : A Night Out

Stake FHE activity always to seem to be more fun. This may not always be the case but last night it was! The stake activity was ice skating! I dont like ice skating but last night it was so fun, probably because I got to go around in circles with my dear friends!! Courntney and Tina came to play and it was so MUCH FUN!! I absolutly love these girls! And for me, Preston was just a big ball of excitment! LoL. It was only an 3 buck activity, and there was a ton a people. I really didn't meet anyone new which I was okay with. I even got to see people that I haven't seen in such a long time! Like a little reunion! hahah

I am so glad that I went and got to have a grand time!!

All About Steve

If you have not yet seen the movie "All About Steve" I believe you should!! It is staring Sandra Bullock, and she is excellent in this movie, it is just SO FUNNY!!! Sandra Bullock's character, Mary Horowitz is a way SMART girl. . too smart in fact, that is makes her weird. . . well she falls for a guy named steve, that is where the title comes from, Mary stocks steve. . . . at the end of the movie Mary says the best quote EVER!!!

So Great!

This weekend as been one of the best since moving back home. I went to dinner with my family on Friday night, and then rented some good movies! Drove around Glendale looking for a dance that DIDN'T exist! haha Kimm and Tau are so fun to hang with even if it was just for 20 minutes or so!

Saturday was a good day. I FINALLY cleaned the inside of my car! It sure needed it! I totally lounged around for most of the day, so nice!! I got a text from my awesome sister-in-law Kristi, her text totally made my whole day the BEST day ever this is what she told me "Zaiden has been calling everything shannon for the past 5 minutes hahaha Heck Yes! Zaiden is the cutest little boy ever! He is my 1 1/2 year old nephew and is starting to talk a lot more. He spent Thursday night over here at my house, which means all night we were teaching him our names. So it looks like shannon did stick. . 2 days later! O how I love that little boy!
I made my way to the movies, after waiting almost 20 minutes for the two boys that I was driving with!! hahaha so fun! We met up with 11 other people from my student ward and we saw Sherlock Homes!! GREAT MOVIE!!! I totally recommend you seeing it! We all paid separately. . which means we all had to be there together to get seats together. Well we told the lady helping us that there was 15 of us. We counted right I swear!! After every had paid I took the tickets and started handing them out. . to my surprise we had 3 extra tickets!! hahaha I still hope no one was charges extra for these tickets! The theater workers wouldn't take them back. . . to this second I dont know why. I ended up seeing a friend and gave two of the tickets to her.

After the great movie we went to one of the girls house and played games. my two besties, courtney and ashley drove to salt lake and played with us!! I am glad they came! I just hope they had a good time. . . which who knows if they did!!

Sunday was just FANTASTIC!! I love my Sundays!!

All in all this third weekend in January was SO GREAT!!!

P.S. I think I will be hired soon (somewhere). . I can feel it in my bones!!

Sushi Night

I dont even remember what the Sushi place is called, other than the location of it by Skyline high school. Wednesday night from 8-10PM and this sushi place is College night. In other words - half off - the popular rolls. Cali Roll, J-Roll, Vegas Roll and two others that I haven't tried, Shrimp Roll and Yum-Yum Roll. To be able to get this half off price you have to buy a soda. We (Tina, Whitney, Courtney and I) Ordered our drinks, all three getting diet, me wanting to be "different" (that is what went through my head) I got a Dr. Pepper. We were given our drinks and the waitress informs us that she couldn't remember which one was the Dr. Pepper. hahaha, Are you Kidding Me!! hahaha So I went to work and the taste test began. After tasting three of the four drinks came to the conclusion that two of the three drinks were diet but there was one that was nothing, just carbination and pure syrup. Definitly not Dr. Pepper.


I ended up not being "difffernt" (which is not a bad thing) and ordered a diet.

Despite the drink confussin, my sushi rolls that I ordered were DELICIOUS!! I tried two new rolls that I hadn't experienced it yet, the J-Roll and the Yum-Yum.. . hahaha so YUM-YUM!! we had a great time being all together and laughing!

Another Stresser

Two post in one day . . .I think I need to stop and wait to post this tomorrow . .o wait it is 12:03AM, never mind, new day.
I need to vent yet again. I know that everyone is probably looking for a job, which I include myself in the "everyone" category. I feel like it is a dead end looking, online is the only place that tells me who is looking to fill that position, but online is crap! Seriously, I dont know how to look for a job, I have always kinda been handed a job interview and gotten it. Needless to say, I DONT want February to come. TOO many things to pay for on that awful first day of the month, and no money to pay it with. This is what I wish . . . . Start a fund at a bank, in my name to help for this special cause to help me stay out of debt! hahahaha Can people do that? Do you really think people would be moved to help a 22 year old girl stay afloat? lol I dont think so but tonight I am going to dream that!

Without It

Being back in my old student ward has added some unnecessary stress. Yesterday was my second Sunday back. I only know a handful of people that are still there since I was last there, which means that I need to get to know a lot of people. That is not where the stress is, I am comfortable with meeting new people, it comes easy to me. It is the fact that NO ONE else is comfortable with meeting new people. I am not used to being ignored in R.S. and sitting by myself (not by choice). I am just very thankful that I have a strong testimony of this wonderful gospel to keep me going to church. I am always reminding myself that I am there at church to learn new things and to build my testimony, not for the social aspect of it. This gospel is perfect but the saints are not. I am thankful for my testimony cus I know if I did not have it I would probably not be going to church. My mom is the greatest example to me about this, and I am glad she taught me right! I will always hold onto my testimony and what I know to be true, and love church -even the social side- even though right now it is stressing me out!

Blog Worthy

I dont even know where to start this post at . . my Saturday night was filled with so much joyous laughter that I wish I had pictures to tell the story. . . cus you know, a picture can speak! Since I dont have ANY Pictures of last night, I will try to explain to the best of my abilities. P.S. I need to enroll in a writing class!
Anyways so the night started out by meeting Coutney and Ashley in a parking lot that is, as I was told, the top spot for drug dealers, so what did I do? Parked my car under a light and dumbed into Courtney's car! I live in the RP people! Come on. hahaha That is where the night started! Cus we were in the parking lot, there was a very questionable car, seemed like it was following us. Ended up not being so. Tina then came and we were off!We meet up with the other three girls, drove to Kristen's friends going away party. With Kristen knowing everyone at the party that left the 6 of us not knowing anyone other than each other! But It was a lot of fun, plus Becca kinda met a guy!
We then went to Smith's were we spent um probably half an hour roaming around and LAUGHING! Tina, Asley and I tried to talk in an accent, and we even said "Let us talk like this all night" did we? No haha
We made our way to Kristen's place were we spent the rest of night playing card games, BS, Egyptian Rat Screw ending with my favorite - Scum! O my goodness there was some who got very upset for being scum MOST the time, and then there was Tina and Ashley who fought over being scum! hahahahaha
We then ended the night, getting back into the car to go to the drug dealer parking lot to our cars. BUT! When we were leaving Kristen's neighborhood. All four of us were engaged in a deep conversation. For some reason Courtney and Ashley went into their own convo and Tina and I into our own when all of the sudden, out of NO WHERE . . Courtney and Ashley SCREAM . .Which made Tina and I SCREAM! We had no idea why they were screaming we just were cus they did. After we got our laughs out . .and pee out- HAHAHAHA we found out that there was a bird in the road, Ash and Court thought it was a rock, until it flew at the car, hence the reason for the scream! HAHAHAHA O man it was so great!
You see why I wish I had pictures for this? I know that even though this night was totally blod worthy, it probably wont for those of you who weren't there cus I think you would have to be there to really enjoy it! But I sure did LOVE it, this is my blog so the reason this night was TOTALLY BLOG WORTHY
I had a BLAST last night and enjoyed chillin with my girls! I can't wait to have another "Adventure" with them!! Sooner than later I hope!

Ephraim

I spent Friday night and Saturday afternoon in Ephraim/Manti! I got invited by my wonderful best friend, Treble to spend the night! I went down with her new fiance, which was fun to get to know him better, funny funny kid and o so perfect for Treb! Ii got to see her cute little apartment which I loved! I got to meet her insane roommates, She is so strong for living with them is all I have to say! When we got there we went to the "malt shop" and got shakes! SO DELICIOUS! I didn't eat all of mine which, ya know, just throwing money away, but I did enjoy eating what I did of it! We went back to her apt. and Treb and I played "Phase 10" like old times. HAHAHA So great! During the summer at Oakcrest we would play this card game for HOURS!! We both got better at it! Playing again brought back memories. I did end up winning this game, all thought I have to say she should have if she played her card right!
We stayed up and talked about her wedding plans and things that are going on with that. I am having a great time with that cus I am living through her life right now . .getting married and all. lol I can't believe I just admitted that, anyways moving on . . .
After eventually falling asleep, we woke and ate a yummy breakfast of French toast! Got dress and went on a fantastic adventure in Manti! Walking Main street and window shopping. We did go into a cute little store were Treb bought a candle! There were so many cute house decor things . .that are EASY crafty things you could make yourself for cheap!!! We even took a nice walk to the nearest ATM, to get cash for the candle she got! hahaha I had A LOT of fun spending time with Treb and her fiance! I am glad that I went. Thanks Treb for inviting me and Craig- for driving!!

Vai Balla

The night of my dear fathers birthday, we went to dinner at Litz'a Pizza. Delicious place! I was very excited to go there and eat especially with my family for a special reason.
Well about an hour after we ate, and being home, my stomach started acting up. I have NEVER felt such awful pain before. I swear I was dieing it was THAT BAD!! I tried going to the bathroom and it didn't help. I didn't know what to do or what was going on. I was thinking that it was gas but like I said before I have NEVER felt this, not even with gas.
Before we has cake and ice cream my dad went to go pick up my mom from Young Women's, while he was out the pain got WORSE!! I couldn't breath cus it hurt so bad, I couldn't even stand! I moved myself to the bathroom, hunched myself over the sink and just cried due to the excruciating pain! Kimm and Tau came over and Kimm was all like"Shannon I am going to go get you the Vai Balla drink that will help your stomach feel better." I would take anything, cus at this point Alka Seltzer wasn't kicking in.
I called my dad a long few minutes later crying to him that I needed a blessing. He said he was on his way. In the mean time. . . I pained!
My parents where back, mom came in and checked on me by this time the pain was getting manageable. Kimm also came back at this time with the "Vai Balla" drink. I made my way to the kitchen to have this drink. And this is where the real story begins! My adventure with this HORRIBLE TASTING DRINK!! I would NOT wish anyone to drink this! I was ordered to plug my nose and drink as much as I can, until I can't anymore! Needless to say I didn't drink very much! I had to STOP due to gagging! I do not know how to describe to you this AWFUL AWFUL drink! UG! And I didn't even know if this NASTY stuff would even help my stomach like kimm and tau testify it would, but I trusted them. They told me I needed to drink the rest of what was in my cup. There was NO WAY, but I tried, and yup, just as I thought, I could the threw it up, into the sink. . . thank goodness! haha
GOOD NEWS! The drink did help, even though I only did have a shot of it! It relived my stomach but I still felt very ill, kinda like. . "I now have to watch what I eat cus who knows what will upset it now, since pizza upset it" haha
I couldn't sleep and wasn't getting any all night long due to my stomach not being completely healed. Even to this minute right now I don't feel healed.

First Day of 2010

Kevin's camera people asked him to go down to Temple square and film him looking at the light with his family. So on the first day of 2010, that is just what we did. Mom, dad, kevin and I headed out first to Gateway, get hot coco and caramel apple cider at starbucks and under moms requeset watch the water dance to music. We watched the water for ten minutes and then decided that we were getting too cold aka my feet were FREEZING, so we walked a little bit around without going inside any store cus every store closed at 6! I honestly didn't think this was such a BIG HOLIDAY!

HAHA we got back into the car and headed to Temple Square. . . .

To our SURPRISE . . . The lights were OFF. . .mind you it was only 6:30PM.They too must close on this BIG HOLIDAY. Needless to say we still filmed Kevin looking at the light that were on. hahah We tried to make it look like all the lights were on. I guess we will see how it turned out when the episod is aired on tv in a year. haha It was a lot of fun doing this, once again after 20 minutes my feet were FREEZING! I was were my all-stars/chucks and those don't keep your feet very warm, I will tell you that much!

Uh . . 2010

Welcome to the year of 2010!!

I can't sleep, I am thinking that I am thinking too much. haha I have a lot on my mind. First off I realize how much a blog is an online journal, I will probably, most likely, be making my blog private here soon.. once and when I can figure it out. I still don't know how I feel about this new year, my feelings are all over the page. I know what I want in life, and all the things that I want to experience, like tonight I want to better my cooking "skills" and take cooking classes, but that consists of having lots of green, I have other things to pay for and I don't even have A JOB!
Everyone around me is getting married, where are these girlfriends of mine finding these guys?? My Student ward isn't really cuttin it (but maybe it will).. but where else do you go to meet them?
And I suppose that going on a mission is still on my mind.. BUT only because I feel there is nothing else going for me. But is it seriously the RIGHT thing? I feel not so much... my desires are in a different chapter.

What will this New Year Bring me? I wish I could be more in tune and receive more insight as to where my life will end up for 2010.
