You know how everyone has their own pet peeve. Yup! So I have a new one to add to my list. Background story. I got a job here in St. George at the store called IZOD. Yes I am new and yes I am still learning things, but DONT TALK TO ME LIKE I AM STUPID!! One person in particular who I always am with cus I work to close up shop. She talks to me like I am a retard! Which we all know that I am clearly not and far from, I guarantee I can get higher than 17 on an IQ test! UG!!! She is the only one at work that I can't stand. But I am learning to deal with it cus that is what working with different people is all about. The End!

Mrs. Brumsbee

We have added a new addition to our insect family. Mrs. Brumsbee, the little fat o'bee who makes yummy apple pie. haha in the words of Heather Jean. Cassi named her this time. We saved her life from the deathly napkin of Michelle, to the fist bonding by Richard (Brittany's boyfriend) We have yet to take her back outside so her life wont be threatened. Here she is.

Taste Testing

I seriously wish I had my camera with me at this moment, and still to this second, two days later, I am yelling at myself for not having it! The institute dance was on friday night, well I never have any luck at these dances, cus lets just face it, I dont get asked to dance. It sucks but moving on. Cassie, Erick (Heather Jeans brother) and I were sitting during some songs. My feet killed that night cus I was working an 8 hour shift. Anyways so yes I was sitting, and behind us on the wall was a nice decoration of creat/tissue paper. You know the kinda that you can twist to look really nice on the wall? Anyways I was looking at it and I turned to Cassie and asked her"if she has ever tasted it before?" She looked at me funny which I took as a no. I insisted that she put her toung to it and taste. HAHAHAHA it was the funnest thing in the world! Kodax moment and I didn't get it! Then we both turned to Erick, and he tasted it. hahah Same reaction. It was priceless. Next thing you know there are yet marks on the decorations. lol SO FUNNY!! I couldn't stop laughing. I did take mental pictures of it but there isn't a way that I can put them on here, so I hope you guys can picture it!

Got Style?

This is the second time this has happened and So it has come to my attention, and also the attention of my roommate Cassi, that we sometimes dress in the same color. haha Cassi will see me before she dresses and then ends up dressing in the same colors. I love it A LOT! I do not mind at all but I really dont think she is trying to dress like me, she is inspired after she sees me. haha lol I love this girl tons!!

Streefulness Shows

Yes, I am stressing out. Big time. Why does everything have to cost money! UG! I have two stressful ZITS, BIG ONES!! All because I can't pay my bill. I just started a job, and I have two weeks to try to make enough money to live in November. I hope I will get what I need! In the mean time, I want to keep looking my best and these BIG planets need to go away. That is my rant. THE END . .

Mr. Green

So Herbert Walter Henry was short lived until a few days later, Mr. Green came into our life. Sitting outside our door, just like Herbert was, Mr. Green, a cute little green leaf bug. I shouted to Heather of this bug and she name him Mr. Green. He was very short lived, he didn't even make it into our apartment. I scooped him up and took him to the same place I put Walter. Sorry I didn't take any picture of Mr. Green that is how short lived he was. The next day I was walking back from class and low and behold, Mr.Green was laying dead in the parking lot in a stawl right in front of our door. Tears, haha. Very short lived. May he be rested!

Herbert Walter Henry

So one night here in my lovely apartment. All night there was a stink bug outside our door. I was watching him all night. Well somehow he got into the house at the split second I was no longer watching him. I have no idea how he got in seeing as to our door was shut the whole time. Well I got him in the jar as you see. Heather and I didn't know what to name him, yet, Heather was calling him three different names the whole 30 minutes we had him as a pet. It was so funny! Bonding moment for us. I then let him go outside far away where he wouldn't be able to come back. Dear Herbert Walter Henry, the stink bug that didn't stink.

Coolest Blessing

It was always so fun when a brother of mine would recieve the Mel. Priesthood! Especially when I was sick, they would help my dad. I remember when Wesley helped give me a blessing, I cried. I remember when Bradley helped and Bryce. I always would try to find a reason to ask for a blessing so they could help.
I was home this past weekend, it was fall break so I got to spend four nights and five days at home. Before I went home that monday I caught a cold that one of my roommates had. I was miserable! Yet, I was happy that the sickness came when it did cus I knew I was going home and I would be better in no time with my mom around. Well, I made it home and I was still pretty sick. No bueno! Thursday night and I was sick of being sick, and my body hated it too. I thought to myself "Shannon, get a blessing for goodness sake!" So that is what I did. Why did it take me so long? I dont know! I asked my father for a blessing, thenI turned to Kevin Henry and asked him to help. I didn't think the feeling would be so overwhelming like it was.Kevin anointed and then my father proceeded. But when Kevin did this amazing act of service, tears came to my eyes, "My little brother has the power!" When younger, I never thought ahead to the time when my little brother would be helping to give me a blessing. It was Powerful. I love that kid dearly!! He is going to be Power House when he gets called to serve!

Living Arangmetns

So As some people know I am living in St. George. I am going to school at Dixie State College and I love my roommates! My days are easy but I feel like I am losing a lot of sleep even though I know this is not the case. I am enjoying St. George and everything that I am learning about myself and what I am learning in my classes. Thus far I have had a good and very trying experience. I want to post some pictures so you guys can see my cute roomies and everything else that I have been doing.

It happened, I am Weak!

So Finally after living through other people's blog for the best month, I decided to make my own! I should have started this a long time ago cus so much stuff has happened and I have grown up and experienced things that I am grateful to have experienced. I would not have changes anything about the past couple months for anything. Yes, I have missed out on family stuff . .A LOT of family things but I have now come to appreciate being home with family and enjoying the company of loved ones more than I guess I used to. So stay tuned to Shannon Exposed. This should be exciting for you, I may post past experiences and of course future ones, as things happens! I am so excited to be doing this, and I dont care if no one reads it!
